Über mich
-
AFTER I started writing the blog, I had fashioned a hard
time coming up with what to say. What is it people want to learn? Then I came across this
estimate:
Better to write for yourself and have zero
public, than to create for the general public and have zero
personal. ~Cyril

It helped me recognize that writing for a few imaginary potential viewers won't work.
This website
is a place for me to share my experiences with food,
meals I love, and the occasional anecdote about my time.
It's an escape from your day to day time more than anything else (occasionally I even create my content while
at work when I need to clear my mind; sshh, don't
tell anyone!)
My original strategy was to remake the Amaretto Parmesan cheese Tart We wrote about
in my own first post. An urgent condo check out
on Sunday transformed my plans. Rather I'm writing
these Banana Nutella Muffins along with you. They appear appropriate since muffins are
probably the baked good I maximize.
I was hoping for more of a Nutella swirl look to them, but I over-mixed
the batter and lost the swirl. It's ok, they still flavor
great, and the Nutella drizzle at the top completely makes
up for having less swirl inside.
Don't be concerned, I'll make the tart soon!
Banana Nutella Muffins
1/2 cup whole wheat grains
2 tsp cooking powder
1 ripe but firm banana for garnish (optional)
Preheat the oven to 375. Series a 12 cup
muffin tin.
In a big bowl, mix the flours, baking natural powder and salt
jointly.
In a separate bowl, mix the mashed banana, butter and egg together.
Stir within the yogurt and vanilla.
Combine the wet into the dry until simply combined. Stir within the Nutella.
Pour batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin. Best each muffin with slim pieces of
banana.
Bake for 25-30 a few minutes.
Once done, great on a cable rack. Drizzle with Nutella.
These muffins look so good! I love nutella.
